2024 Wedding Round Up

This year took Soiree all around the world, doing amazing events for clients. Here is our 2024 wedding round up. First, we started the year in Paris, France with a 3 day celebration throughout the city. After a wedding at the American Church, guests dined and danced the night away at none other than Ritz Paris. See another feature from this wedding weekend here.

Next, we were in our own state’s capital of Columbia, SC. Everything was held at the Hampton Preston Mansion, but we were most excited about using our La Fenice tent that Snyder imported from Italy.

Then, our next two spring weddings are here in our own backyard, but at new to us venues. First, we are at a client’s home, which you know is a favorite of mine. Stay tuned for more on this wedding in the upcoming Charleston Weddings Magazine!

Here, a thunderstorm barely misses our perfect intimate ceremony under the oak at Yeaman’s Hall. Dinner and dancing is held under a sailcloth tent on the lawn.

And, we’re off! Next, we are back in Kansas City with one of our very favorite families we have had the pleasure of working with before. After a ceremony at the family’s long time church, cocktails and dancing takes place in the Nelson Atkins Museum, while dancing is in a La Fenice tent on the lawn overlooking the property.

Our next wedding is in Cashiers, NC at the High Hampton Resort. Everything about this one was spectacular… From the setting, to the weather, to the fashion, and the couple. We can’t wait to be back here at the same time this year!

Next, we are in Charlottesville, Virginia at a private farm/home. The view out of the back of their home is of the spectacular Blue Ridge Mountains, so it was the perfect spot for our ceremony. Then, there was plenty of space for our greenhouse tent and luckily for that structure as a terrible storm blew in right as they sealed the marriage with a kiss. We also celebrated with a Friday night Lebanese shebang and dance party in a barn on the property.

Fall also took us to Nashville. The ceremony and reception for this one took place at Cheekwood, with a ceremony in one of the famous gardens. Then, a reception followed on the lawn behind the mansion.

But, Friday night in Nashville was also a favorite, with a welcome party in the lobby of The Hermitage. The detail in this hotel provides an incredible backdrop and details, so that we only had to bring in furniture, florals, a little lighting… A lovely evening for all!

Finally, our last wedding of the year brings us to Sea Island, Ga. A December wedding in the South can be so lovely. We scored with colder but perfectly sunny weather. And, with all of the hotel’s holiday decorations, it really felt like a true winter destination wedding. There is a lot of workable space here, so after a ceremony in an intimate garden, guests enjoy cocktails overlooking the river, and finally, dinner and dancing in a tented affair on the beach lawn.
