Some of our favorite parts of an event to design are the ceremonies. This is after all, what is being celebrated. The location or occasion can call for something simple and understated, or for something quite over the top. We always like to customize each design to our clients and tailor something perfect just for them. This small celebration at Kiawah River (outside of Charleston, SC) has its own stunning scenery. So, this floral arch was the perfectly compliments the sweeping views.
We wanted this tented beach ceremony to seem more like a permanent installation. The ceiling is draped in a patterned fabric that compliments the custom built wooden backdrop. And, baby’s breath orbs serve to anchor the “alter” without distracting from the ceremony. Also, lining the aisles with lush floral boxes gives the rustic natural elements a more feminine touch.
With the backdrop of Montego Bay, calls for a simple and natural ceremony design. So, a chuppah of local greenery is softened with light blooms.
At this glam gold and white winter wedding, a clear tent is draped with fresh greenery and gold chandeliers. And, a stage is built for the alter, to raise the view for the seated guests. A live floral wall installation and oversized planters create the illusion of the outside being in. And, an immaculate white carpet aisle is laid, fit for a bride.
One of our all time most favorite ceremonies features linen poufs for seating. In order to keep guests’ prime view of the wedding and the ocean, a simple floral arch is perfection.
In order for this bride to make it down the aisle (which is in a field overlooking the Rocky Mountains), a wooden boardwalk is built. To give it more of a bridal look, a custom monogramed runner is layered on top. And, for just a pop of color, the greenery arch featured blossoms in the wedding palette.
This wedding location isn’t quite large enough to accommodate all of the guests. So, we capitalized on this and created picture perfect details. Vintage church pews on the lawn outside of the church, and open doors, create an extension of the small chapel. Also, a live gospel choir sang the couple out of the church, and down the outside aisle.
