Celebrating Cinco De Mayo

Since most of us won’t be able to celebrate Cinco de Mayo in person, I figured it would be great to give you some ideas to celebrate next year. With either Cinco de Mayo redo or a early May wedding once Quarantine is over. Fun invitations are a must… We love these Fiesta invites that Lettered Olive did for a couples shower.

Maybe a fun dinner party or rehearsal dinner is more your speed. Fun palm print fabric made for fun table runners, and woven chargers are dressed up with garden greens and a pretty napkin setting.

Now for the fun stuff, food and drinks. Margaritas, sunset punch, our signature Lowcountry Lemonade are all great offerings, but dress them up! They are so chic with custom drink details like flags, or stirrers. For a rehearsal dinner we did, Cru Catering offered ceviche on the half shell, and mini tuna tacos with their own lime wedges.

If you really want to do something fun, CoCo & Co can make custom emblazed coconut cocktail and serve them out of the cutest thatched roof cart. Think pain killers, pina coladas, etc… or find your own coconut cups and make them festive on Etsy.

Or if simple or more traditional is your style, getting cute napkins to serve with your Margs. There are so many options out there, and now so many variations on Margarita recipes too!
