Fall Cocktail Ideas

In addition to desserts (see previous post), another of fall favorites are the cocktails. For this wedding, where pops of brights went with shades of green, a dirty shirley was perfect. A dirty Shirley uses grenadine for it’s color. And, for a real hint of fall, you could add ginger beer.

And, of course, think about adding seasonal flavors along with details. Custom printed cocktail napkins in fall color palettes are simple and easy. Also, we love printing the cocktail name, or a couple’s monogram on our wooden drink stirrers. Of course, the drinks don’t always have to have alcohol. One groom’s grandmother was famous for her spiced Russian tea, for example. We letterpressed the recipe onto coasters and served it from the bars.

Also, consider the glass. For fall, we love using copper Moscow Mule mugs. Or, maybe colored glass from Estelle.

For parties at home, you can always stick to the tried and true classics for Fall, like red wine and bourbon. If you want to dress it up for a holiday party, write labels and decant your wine. Or, for bourbon display your collection with some crystal glassware for guests to try a sampling.

And, at the end of the day you can never go wrong with Champagne. Again, using a couple or different shaped flute dresses up the standard. Also, pop a dendrobium orchid in there, for our Soiree Signature look.
