Dress Details

Long gone are the days of bridal fashion where the only options included layers and layers of thulle, poofy sleeves, and itchy lace. The fashion world out there is exploding with talent. And, we are lucky that our brides are often chic as can be, so we get some pretty fabulous dresses. Here, we share some of the ways our brides make their statements. Our bride who married overlooking the ocean in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, had a high style soiree with a “gardeny” aesthetic. When we saw this dress, we realized it couldn’t be more perfect. Her custom embroidered Monique Lhuillier featured green and white floral appliques. Stunning.

Let’s walk through a wedding weekend of looks. So, for this wedding with a rehearsal dinner and welcome party in the city, our bride took a twist on the traditional little white dress for Friday night. This glamorous long and lean silhouette by Ellery is complimented by a featured Cult Gaia bag.

Also, the big day featured several looks. First, the dress. And, this was not just any dress. The heavy silk faille was just perfect. The pleated details were just beyond on this dress by Lihi Hod. At the reception, wanting to be able to dance the night away and still be the bride, a silk jumpsuit takes over by Safiyaa. And, finally, for a picture perfect send off, the bride wears an asymetrical stunner by Galvan.

This spring time bride’s airy mermaid sheath was “the one” from the very beginning. It turns out she had kept this dress by Lee Petra Grebenau on her phone as inspiration. But, when she and her mother went to try it on in person it became perfect in reality.

But, the reception look is not only an ode to the honeymoon destination (and adorable in photos), but also a way to keep cool and comfortable for dancing all night. White designer sneakers and a LWD, nailed it!
