Today we are sharing one of our favorites from the past few years. Melissa and Stu’s love literally shined thru on their wedding day. And, their families were so fun and great to work with, overall making it the perfect circumstances for a perfect wedding weekend. Thank you to Corbin Gurkin for the beautiful images.
Lettered Olive created so many spectacular pieces for this one. The invitations, while keeping with tradition, showed some personality with an array of vintage stamps and a flourish script. Also, the party pack features watercolor images, die cut designs, and a custom map, so stinking cute all together. Watercolor imagery comes back to welcome guests to the weekend along with a custom treat bag.
Light and breezy whites and neutrals were perfect for this airy Spring celebration.
Kiawah River is a venue that has many different options for set ups. But, a ceremony under the Oaks is a must! And, we love a pretty white aisle, picture perfect for a bride.
Cocktail hour on the lawn features fun seating, an amazing seafood display (complete with live flowers in ice as a centerpiece), and of course a signature oversized Soiree bar.
After cocktails, guests were greeted in the dinner tent by a super elevated bohemian chic design as requested by the bride. We even custom designed and made some of the lanterns.

Here, some of our favorite tabletop elements were the Estelle Colored glass coupes, tasseled place cards, and mixed centerpieces.
Also, don’t you think this iron conservatory offers the perfect showplace for a Jim Smeal wedding cake? The windows open on all sides, so guests can see the couple cut the cake.
After dinner, guests party in our South Beach lounge.
Also, one thing I always consider when designing a party for guests, is the transition from daytime to night time. Our parties have to look just as pretty after the sun goes down.
Since restroom trailers are required, we don’t want guests to feel like they are using a trailer. So, we build it out to feel like part of the space. Complete with a beautifully decorated foyer.
After a night of dancing our couple is sent off with oversized sparklers and big smiles!
