We love this time of year…it’s engagement season! Right around this time is when many grooms-to-be decide to get down on that knee- and we are so happy that they do!!
Always interested in what is up-and-coming for the new year, we had a chance to chat with Dousset Diamonds Jewelers about the trends they are seeing for spring. Dousset Diamonds was founded by Los Angeles based jeweler Jean Dousset. A descendent of the famed Louis Cartier, Dousset honed his skills as a jeweler while working at Chaumet and Boucheron in Paris, followed by Van Cleef & Arpels in Beverly Hills. One thing we truly admire about Dousset Diamonds is that they have a no tolerance policy toward conflict diamonds. They only work with large supplies who adhere to strict laws and regulations regarding the mining of diamonds in non-war zone areas.
Dousset is predicting several new trends for spring! They say some key engagement ring trends are intricately raised diamonds as center stone settings, diamonds surrounding the center stone and band as well as vintage glamour.
Of course, they have some lovely pieces in their collection to fit all of these new trends! With 100 sparkling diamonds, the “Sasha” ring has a raised center stone. So pretty!
The “Eva” ring also caught our eye! With a gorgeous diamond center stone surrounded by diamonds on the band, this ring is a definite stunner!
We thought the “Nina” ring with its classic solitaire diamond definitely has the vintage feel many brides are requesting!
With so many new trends on the horizon how can you not be excited about spring?? Be sure to check out Dousset’s full collection to see if there is a sparkler that suites your personality!
