Happy Monday y’all! As promised, we wanted to share a few more images on the renovation project we are working on. Things are moving along quickly and (knock on wood) we are paced to be finished in April! So far the original pocket doors have been restored and laid into new tracks so they slide with ease.

We had several options for refinishing the original hard wood floors. Here is a sample of the floor unfinished, oiled, low gloss and high gloss. What do you think we decided on?

We decided to simply restore the floors by oiling them and letting their natural age and beauty show through. We were pretty happy with the results!
