Way back when, I was a few years into my event planning business, I somewhat thew myself into floral design and decor by default. I had hired a local florist for one of my weddings and when they showed up with arrangements that I knew wouldn’t make my bride happy I decided to start doing them myself! And while I obviously love an abundance of flowers, sometimes greenery and leaves make for perfect design. There are so many places to use them- on their own or a compliment to flowers and often time they can be done for a fraction of the price!
