Wedding Wednesday from the Archives

Faulkner_invitation

Today we are going back to one of my favorites weddings, which happened to be in 2006! The location was a quaint private residential island and club. The scenery is beyond lovely, with river views and ruins where an old plantation home once stood.  We worked with Lettered Olive to create a custom pattern in the wedding color palette, which you will see as little accents throughout. Photography is by Liz Banfield.

Available locally, and one of the brides’ favorites, Gardenias lent their glorious scent to the wedding.

The cake by Jim Smeal was just as beautiful once cut into as it was on the outside…fresh blueberries were inlaid into icing and served with a dollop of fresh lemon curd.

Fresh rose petals were boxed and wrapped in custom patterned boxes for guests to grab on their way out and toss at the departing bride and groom…
