As previously mentioned, we’re featuring all rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, etc. this month…
We always do matching signage for food items and drinks… The theme of this party was the car that the groom had when he and the bride first met, a GMC Jimmy! We hand drew our version of the car, and used it on the invites, wine bottle labels (favors for the guests), etc.
Since the couple is from North Carolina, Carolina Blue was an obvious color choice. We combined a menu and place card, by printing the individual names on each. Playing up the car theme, we made each escort card look like a license plate!
We named the groom’s favorite cocktail- a sweet tea vodka concoction using both their first names- Fred and Collins; the happy couple outside the venue.
So exciting!!!!! We just found out that Collins and Fred’s wedding will be featured in an upcoming Weddings Unveiled issue. We’re so very excited, as their wedding was one of our favorites, and we love Unveiled, so perfect match!
In Progress…
So we are back from New York and while the office is not completely finished, but I do have some “sneak peak” photos to post. We will be having a preview party for industry pros, clients, etc coming up in a couple of weeks, so we’ll definitely have our girl in the city, Nicki, taking some pics for us to post…
We are in such a fab little neighborhood here (Chelsea). Down a little from the office is a fab little sandwich/salad shop that is so fabulous- feels like a tiny counter bakery in Paris- called tbsp (tablespoon). They have a catering side called Spoon Catering… We ate lunch there everyday, and can’t wait to hopefully work together on an event! And oh-so-tempting ABC Carpet and Home is two blocks away- Dangerous!
I’m loving this…
I’m a major product junkie, so when new things come across my desk I’m more than thrilled and eager to share. Springtime weddings held outdoors are always cursed by bugs! We always have products and prevention methods in place and on hand at all of our events, but this is one that I can’t wait to try. It’s all organic, pesticide free, and smells great. Even has great packaging (looks more like expensive skin care than bug spray). Their website should be up and running soon.
