We were thrilled to see the wedding of our clients, Sara Jacoby and Dominick Maggio, featured in the fall/winter Charleston Weddings magazine.  It was a fabulous celebration for a lovely couple.  As always, Darcy, Melissa and their team have produced an inspiration-filled issue of lowcountry weddings! www.charlestonweddingsmag.com

Also, I just took a peek at the wedding-themed sale on One Kings Lane (www.onekingslane.com) – they have some great basics to offer, from china and silverware to kitchen basics for setting up house.  Check it out!

Sometimes a photographer can make the most mundane of tasks, like putting on a slipper, so incredibly beautiful. Images like those will remain timeless. Our friend and photographer, Adrienne Page, is so good and doing just that! While looking through some older images of her work I am still struck by how lovely they are! Gorgeous!

Have to admit it, we get a little gaga over a fabulous lighting fixture. Every time we go to the shows to look for new decor we can’t help but ooh and ah over the fantastic chandeliers, pendants and drums. We are firm believers that lighting is truly one of the key elements in creating an atmosphere…and we are even bigger fanatics about all lights being on dimmers!!! Ha! Over the years we collected some pretty wonderful lighting in our inventory. Here are just a few that will show how how much lighting sets the mood-

This grey drum with diffuser creates a soft light

These retro Sputnik lights give our bar a funky vibe

A-Line Drum Shades make a bold statement in this lounge

Shimmery tinsel on giant drums set the mood for a NYE soiree

We gave these girly eyelet chandeliers a coat of gold paint to dress them up

Classic crystal chandeliers get a modern twist with an added drum shade

Rustic cage lanterns take center stage in this clear top tent

Hundreds of hanging lanterns achieve this heavenly feel

Pop of color makes a big impression

These art deco black crystal chandeliers are to die for!
