Have you Met Allie?

You may remember Allie Horne…she was our intern last year and we did a post on her a while back! Well, we loved Allie so much that when an opening as Project Manager of our sister company, Lettered Olive, became available we jumped at the chance to have Allie full time! Allie’s transition into the office was seamless and we love having her here (and that’s not just because she has organized every office item in sight!) Red and White Rehearsal Dinner

While working on a wedding, many of our clients often ask us to assist with the planning and design of their rehearsal dinner as well! We love being a part of the entire weekend and designing a fun rehearsal dinner definitely allows us to be more involved with our clients overall experience! We thought we would share some images from this rehearsal dinner we did a while back for a super fun couple, Elizabeth and Jimbo. Set on the water at a private home in Sea Island, GA, we went with a bold color scheme or red and white for a backyard fete. We made large banquettes for more comfortable seating and hung bistro lights over the tables for a cozy feel. Utilizing a large oak tree, we strung butler cards on the trunk for guests to find their seat. A bluegrass band serenaded the guests all night in between toasts! Such a beautiful night…we wish we could do it all over again!

A Wedding Fit for an Olympian

Kate Sobrero Markgraf, a bride of ours from 2003 (making me feel really OLD!) is a three time Olympian. She won the silver in 2000, the gold in 2004 and the gold in 2008! She was also a very beautiful bride, now a mother of three. She makes me proud! Go USA!
