We just love when our new copy of Charleston Weddings comes in the mail and we can honestly say it is such a good feeling when you see the beautiful images of your hard work on glossy pages. When those two things come together…bliss! We had a wonderful time working with Ashley and Tony on their Lowndes Grove nuptials last June. This couple chose such a classic color palate of gold, ivory, black and white. Liz Banfield was on hand to capture the whole day on film. Finished spread looks amazing. Big THANK YOU to our friends over at Charleston Weddings for the feature. Here are the highlights but be sure to pick up the whole magazine on news stands now!

So what happens after the bouquet is tossed, the dressed is boxed and the thank-you-notes are sent? Life goes on of course! The end of a wedding can be bittersweet for us because we truly become so close with our clients. However, we love getting updates on all the exciting new steps in their lives. We couldn’t be happier for our clients when we hear about a new job, new city or new addition to the family.
Of course you know that our friend, Liz Banfield, shoots a good bit of our weddings. What you may not know is that she also does “lifestyle sessions” where she will hang out with a family for an entire day to capture intimate portraits of everyday life (all on film of course!). Just like us, Liz likes to keep up with past brides as well. She recently shared mutual past clients, Lainey and Tripp’s lifestyle session. Since getting married they have added onto the family. Lainey agreed to let us share some photos with you all! No matter what stage in life you are, these sessions are a great way to capture the sweet, simple moments.

Life These Days:
Happy Friday everyone! Tara here sharing one of my favorite things…the Bergdorf Goodman catalog! I always look forward to getting mine in the mail. It is so dreamy! They shot their last issue at the Greenbriar, a design landmark! I adored both the backdrop and the subject…ideal eye candy-
This dress is exquisite. Love the sleeves. All in the details, always!
Grrrr Great! I’ll take it.
The perfect place and attire for a fox hunt…hummm
Classic 70’s wallpaper. Green, green leaves. And the sleeves on the blouse? Perfect!
Ouch- green suede dress and high gloss green walls- want both!
Can’t get enough of hand painted wallpaper. This IS timeless.
I would wear this over jeans any day!
