One of our favorite things to hear from a new couple is their engagement story. Grooms these days come up with such fun, romantic ways to propose. To the unknown groom in this case, we applaud your creativity.

Hi Y’all! Erin here. As you are all well aware by now, we think our photographer friend, Adrienne Page, is super talented. What you may not know is that her talents extend far beyond the camera. Through her photography career, Adrienne saw a need for unique photo albums that were not only lovely, but well crafted and could endure the test of time. Not being able to find them for herself, she decided to create them! The outcome was her sister company, Vevlet Raptor. Her albums are immaculately bound in only the highest quality, eco-friendly velvet. They are gorgeous!
Recently Adrienne has been working on a new addition to the Velvet Raptor collection. After much hard work, trial, and error, Adrienne has found a way to letterpress onto her beautiful velvet. She began to create custom cards and invitations from the new designs. She has also teamed up with a top notch calligrapher, Emily Snyder of Queen Quills Calligraphy, to create custom invitations, save the dates, menu cards, etc for her clients. We caught up with Adrienne these past few days while in NYC and she showed us the images from her and Emily’s collaboration.
It. Is. Amazing. I mean really.

Happy Monday Y’all! Sorry I have been slack on the blog posts this week! Tara and I just got back from the Special Event Conference in Tampa, Florida this past week. I promise to blog on that this week and share you our experience…it was great!
But first, I wanted to let you all know something we are so excited about! Tara has the privilege of speaking at the upcoming Chapel Designers Group in March!
This amazing collaboration of floral designers is the brain child of Holly Chapple, who saw the need for a forum of floral designers to meet, share ideas and bond in their common industry.

This year Holly has a fabulous line-up of events! Did I mention we are all meeting in NYC?? How fun. First, we will head to the offices of the always wonderful Matthew Robbins where Matthew will show us some of this favorite designs and creations from his new book Matthew Robbins Inspired Weddings.
Along with a class led by Tara, the group will also go on a shopping trip through the flower district as well as take a class at the Floral School of NYC!
