Good morning y’all! Typically we feature some wedding loveliness on Wednesdays but we were feeling a bit “racier” yesterday when we saw that our sister company, The Lettered Olive, was featured on one of our favorite blogs to follow, Oh So Beautiful Paper.

If you don’t know about the blog, it is written daily and features all things design and inspirational for custom papers and stationary. It is a great spot to get your creative ideas flowing for any event!

The Lettered Olive created the most amazing invitations for a Nascar event. Their designer, Julia, really outdid herself with these!

We swooned over them as soon as they arrived in the office. With foil stamping, wood accents and a hard metal backing, we knew Nascar would turn their engines over for them. Shooh! Barely squeezing a Friday post in here!! So sorry for the delay. Tara and I just got back from NYC today after being there most of the week. (Pictures and a blog post to come I promise!) We received a lovely surci in our inbox when we arrived back in the office today. The always chic e-glossy Smitten Magazine is cranking out the goodness with their new November-December issue.

Our friend, Della, spent a lot of time in the Big Apple herself recently and got some amazing inspiration from the runway for this issue. Tara was excited to be a part of this issue as well giving her favorite picks for a black and white inspired look. This classic color combo is something that she’s really fallen back in love with recently and is working perfectly with some of our fall clients! We recently flanked a bar in chic black and white stripes and it was the ideal touch for our lounge! It’s Friday! We had the best time at the launch party for the new Scout Guide Charleston last night! The Scout Guide just hit the shelves last month and we are glad to see it thriving in Charleston. If you haven’t had the chance to pick it up, Scout is an annual, high quality publication that consists of 1 or 2 page advertorial spreads featuring local businesses. The Scout Guide is so different than any advertisements we’ve seen before. It reads like a book of art!

Originally stared in Charlottesville, VA, the gals at Scout have been working hard to get to get the first issue for Charleston off the ground. Soiree and the Lettered Olive jumped at the chance to be in the book. We had a great time playing around in the office with photographer Sully Sullivan during our shoot for the ad! Here’s ours…
