Happy Friday!  It’s been 75 degrees and sunny here in Charleston, which has us motivated for spring cleaning and updates around the office. We are repainting the exterior, and love the fact that Sherwin Williams/Duron has an entire line of colors replicating the traditional colors used throughout Charleston’s architecture and design.

We’re using Aged Cobblestone for our new exterior paint. And don’t forget of course Piazza Blue (DCR075) for your porch ceilings, Charleston Green (DCR099), and Charleston White DCR100 for other tried and true Charleston classic colors.

I’m on the preview party committee and we are thrilled to have Carolyne Roehm as the Honorary Chair for this year. It it a “must do” event in Charleston every year.  That weekend also kicks off the 68th Festival of Houses and Gardens. We hope to see you out and about, stop by the office to see our new color or to say hi!

Thank you to Charleston Weddings Magazine for the spread featuring Annie Smith and Davis Warlick’s rehearsal dinner. The Spring 2015 issue is on newsstands now!

We loved working with Annie and Davis on their wedding weekend. It’s always a pleasure (and compliment!) getting to work with past clients- years ago, we designed and planned Davis’ sister’s wedding.  This navy and white color palette is always a classic and easily lent itself to the nautical details for their Yacht Club rehearsal dinner.

The invitations featured two custom crests- one with interlocking anchors and one with crossed oars.

The community table featured a runner printed with compasses and ships and vases covered with hemp rope all complimented the nautical feel without being too “themey”.  Menus, place cards, plate and tray liners, and guest Welcome packaging by Lettered Olive.

Look at that handsome couple!

Here’s how we’ve used her lights for several of our events.

These jute twine sconces were perfect for this formal but laid back lounge tent, having them on dimmers made them provide perfect ambient lighting throughout the entire day into night.

When we found the perfect seersucker fabric to match our Southern summer wedding in Alabama, we grabbed it and sent onto Ann who make them into these  fabulous oversized shades.

We had Ann make these overhead lampshades in fabric used throughout this gold and eggplant colored wedding.
