I’m so excited to be a part of Le Creuset’s “Entertaining Blueprint” Series in partnership with Garden & Gun magazine.  What amazing company to keep!  Last week, we shot a video short (starring Le Creuset’s gorgeous eggplant colored pieces) in my kitchen and garden.  Loved working with the talented Garden & Gun team led by Caroline DuRant, and Austin Dandridge of Cobble Hill Digital.  Here are a few behind-the-scenes snapshots.  Look for the video featuring my killer Bloody Marys soon!

As y’all know, we are all about the little details at a party.  Cocktail napkins are one of those special somethings that add personality to events – from a drinks party for 6 to a wedding bash for 600. This month’s Elle Decor (one of my favorite mags!) features a great array of cocktail napkins on its ETCETRA page (below).  The Mark & Graham monogrammed napkins are a great price point – what a nice hostess gift!  I’ve also chosen a few of our own pics to share.  Linen cocktail napkins are especially elegant when embroidered with a motif of monogram, but paper can be fun and certainly easier on the budget.  If you have a secret source, please comment below!

The fabulously chic (and affordable!) C. Wonder opened its doors on King Street in Charleston the other week.  The Soirettes were fortunate to attend the store’s launch party, and champagne in hand, we ooh-ed and aah-ed over all of the colorful goods.  We were sorry to miss C. Wonder Founder, Chris Burch, but heard he was spotted at The Ordinary later in the evening.  So happy to have his emporium in town!

I particularly loved a few of the entertaining/tabletop items.  (Hint – You can change the look of the lacquer and acrylic trays with a new tray liner made from your favorite specialty paper!)  What do you think of these finds – available at your local C. Wonder or at www.cwonder.com?
