Showing lots of details today from this classic black, white, and gold soiree full of monograms, chandeliers, and floral abundance. Shot by Liz Banfield at Lowndes Grove Plantation, this gorgeous party went from ceremony and cocktail hour overlooking the river to a tented formal seated dinner and big dance party.

It’s Friday which means it’s a traditional evening for guests gathering and rehearsal celebrations. The night before the big event, the last night as a single person, and all of the toasting and anticipation can sometimes be just as fun as the wedding itself…We love getting to help our clients with the rehearsal dinners and playing with more casual hints of the wedding such as variations on the colors or theme.  For this bride, we used the classic navy and white colors from the wedding to design a fun and sophisticated nautical yacht club soiree.

There are so many ways to get creative and design an impact around the ceremony- whether in the seating, maybe a custom aisle runner, florals on the alter or arch, etc.  Even the simplest of details can make a difference. After all, that is what everyone is there to celebrate, there is already a beautiful couple, why not have some beautiful scenery. Today, we’re sharing a round up of some of our favorite aisles from weddings past.
