There are so many ways to get creative and design an impact around the ceremony- whether in the seating, maybe a custom aisle runner, florals on the alter or arch, etc.  Even the simplest of details can make a difference. After all, that is what everyone is there to celebrate, there is already a beautiful couple, why not have some beautiful scenery. Today, we’re sharing a round up of some of our favorite aisles from weddings past.

This springtime affair took place at a sweet little spot that’s a little off the beaten path. A private yacht club about half an hour outside of Charleston, but it’s position at the tip of an island means the backdrop is nothing but water views. It’s a very old and rustic building, so we always have lots to consider when making it wedding ready. The area was special to the bride, having grown up spending summers there. Not only that, but this sweet bride interned for us and I’ve known her family for years, so we couldn’t wait to make her day extra lovely.  Thank you to Corbin Gurkin for these photos.

After working with Lee Kleinhelter (owner of Pieces, Inc) on her wedding, we were thrilled with  Southern Accents (sadly, now gone) asked us to design a baby shower for a feature spread, since Lee was expecting her son Holden at the time it was a perfect pairing! We went back to using her signature kelly green color, and modern touches like a simple font, and Jonathan Adler ceramic accents.  The shower took place at the famed Swan Coach House in Atlanta, Ga. so we had fun making such a traditional venue work for this modern maven. Of course, we brought Liz Banfield back to shoot the day for us.
