I was so happy for my friend, Cornelia when I learned she was expecting a baby girl and that I would be the Godmother! I teamed up with some girlfriends and Lucy Cuneo Photography to put on a sweet but sophisticated shower to celebrate, which is also being featured now on Lonny Mag.

We pride ourselves in the South (especially Charleston) on our Hospitality. I feel that one of the things that has driven Soiree’s success is our ability to help our clients make their guests feel welcome. We are always working on coming up with beautiful, creative, and customized Welcome bags for our weddings. We love to personalize them to our couples- whether it be through using their favorite foods or items representative of the location, or printed/embroidered bags, or printed items (from Lettered Olive of course) that match the wedding papers.  Here are some that we have curated over the years.

An old Southern tradition tells us that a surefire way to keep the rain away on your wedding day is to “bury the bourbon” in the location of the wedding. The rules are that the bottle has to be completely full, has to be buried upside down, and exactly one month before your wedding day.  Our cute bride and groom decided to give this a try. I’ll let you know in one month if it worked!!!
