Loved being back in my hometown of Camden, SC this weekend for the Carolina Cup… It’s a long standing tradition here and of course fashion is a big part of this party. I’m showing you my outfit picks and some shots of what I saw out in the infield.

In the South, (just like at the Kentucky Derby) ladies love their hats. This is a perfect event allowing girls to break out their brims. Bright colors and patterns, namely Lily Pulitzer are pretty much the status quo.

Friday Finds- Little Park Restaurant

It’s so hard to stay abreast of all of the new restaurants opening what seems like daily in New York, but when I stumble across one that’s worth all the fuss, you feel like you should let all of your friends know- like a happy secret. Located in the Smyth Hotel in TriBeCa, Little Park‘s cozy private dining space has us ready to throw a party! The logo is quite darling as well!

Wedding Wednesday- Lovely Leaves

Way back when, I was a few years into my event planning business, I somewhat thew myself into floral design and decor by default. I had hired a local florist for one of my weddings and when they showed up with arrangements that I knew wouldn’t make my bride happy I decided to start doing them myself! And while I obviously love an abundance of flowers, sometimes greenery and leaves make for perfect design. There are so many places to use them- on their own or a compliment to flowers and often time they can be done for a fraction of the price!
