Esteemed local event planner, Tara Guerard from Soiree has done it again. The premier planner’s latest book, “Weddings” is yet another stunning success. Known for her impeccable style and taste, Tara takes us on a guided tour through twelve dream weddings. From a formal Southern soiree to an ocean island affair. Tara spends her time in Charleston and in New York these days. So if you do not have the opportunity to work with her and her team, you can pick up a copy and be inspired. Congratulations Tara!

Tara’s Tidbits

I read in yesterday’s New York Times that Puccini’s Madame Butterfly will be on stage in March and April during New York City’s Opera season… for years this has been at the top of my list, so can’t wait to finally have a chance to see it in person.  For more information go to: nycopera.com.

The BB&T Charleston Wine and Food Festival starts this week!  This is definitely one of the top events in Charleston, not to be missed, and every year some of the top personalities in the Culinary world come our little town for a few days and join forces with our local scene for a downright amazing weekend!   Daniel Boulud, Tyler Florence, and Top Chef alums- Richard Blais, Kevin Gillespie, Eli Kirshtein are just a few names present this year.
