When I’m in New York, I can’t miss a trip to see Hyman Hendler and his vintage ribbon collection. I always walk away stocked with one of a kind ribbons to use for my brides to complete their one of a kind bouquets! Here is a sampling of what I found this trip.

I am so happy that I met Miss Marcy Blum. Author, Eventista, and a fixture on the speaker circuit, she has planned plenty of celeb weddings and events worldwide. I always look forward to grabbing a drink (or several) with her when I’m in New York. She is such a fun plus one for industry events and a great sounding board for talking through career questions. Giant iced skim latte- I am not to be spoken to before coffee

Well that depends, if I’m still working but hungry and don’t want to eat yet, perhaps a green juice concoction or a fruit smoothy; Not working-maybe an aperol spritz
Wine: red, white or champagne?
Rose in the summer,rich bordeaux or napa red in the winter
Hors d’oeuvre that is always in the cabinet or fridge?
Frozen health food meatless egg rolls, raw almonds

I so enjoyed meeting Gwen and Lindsey of The Laundress and hearing about their approach (the rules didn’t apply) to design and marketing-I can relate! So, I wanted to get to know more about the lovely ladies behind this brilliant brand. I’m also sharing my favorite products from their line.

In the summer a cold crisp french white–any sancerre will do.

Depends entirely on the mood and time of year-i love music. Lately I have been into the Sting Radio station and Pink Martini Radio station on Pandora.
