There are so many details from this wedding atop Gorham’s Bluff in Alabama, it’s hard to narrow them down. This sweet shindig has all the trademarks of a perfect Southern affair- seersucker, nods to favorite college football teams, cocktails (many many cocktails), bows, outfit changes (the bride had 3 dresses!) and lots and lots of flowers, all done in the chicest way of course. Liz Banfield shot this wedding weekend for us and Lettered Olive is responsible for all of the printed items, including the cutest flower die cut menu cards!!!

Summer Pool Party

Of course we love our brides and coming up with new wedding details, but sometimes it is fun to take a break and plan something different. We have been lucky enough to plan a past bride’s son’s birthday party every year. Each time there is a new theme and we have so much fun with it. Last year, for his 5th birthday we had a shark infested pool party complete with games, floats, and shark themed food. Summer is finally here, and this gets me ready to take on the next few months with the kids out of school! Press Pass

We loved seeing our “Happy Hour” feature in this months’ Better Homes and Gardens issue (on newsstands now). Our tips for throwing a cocktail party are revealed. We had a blast shooting this in my garden! And, those adorable bar accoutrements are available through Lettered Olive.
