Congratulations to Kate McDonald Bridal on the debut of her new collection. A cocktail hour kicked off the show which was hosted by the William Aiken House.
Gates were welcoming with draping and pretty little oyster shell wreaths- love the nod to Charleston and the fact that Katherine has kept her design operation local from the beginning.
What a lovely runway!
Guests could enjoy pre show conversations in the lawn lounge…
Jewel tones reigned over the LulaKate bridesmaids collection.
Pastel palettes are still popular… The Kate McDonald bridesmaids and bridal collections were both full of ethereal lines and lightweight fabrics.
Of course, the famous Lula Kate stripe made an updated appearance with a halter top.
Another trend that was represented was the two piece dress.
This was our favorite piece of the collection, the blue tulle overlay… one of our recent brides wore a Kate McDonald dress with a tulle skirt overlay she wore for the ceremony and then removed for the reception.
