This preppy pink and green September wedding has us reliving these last few days of summer. Family was key to this couple (the groom’s family made the trek all the way from Canada to experience the South Carolina summer temps) and still to this day the weather and the lighting overlooking the marshes of Kiawah Island on the wedding day were some of the best we’ve ever had in our many years of producing events. Here in Charleston we have a multitude of historic venues and locations for weddings and events. From our Churches some of which are hundreds of years old, to Plantation sites, to grand old homes or museums, there are so many locales that offer fantastic backdrops for our couples and their photographers. One of of the most lovely are the grounds and gardens at Middleton Place. This blue and white fete was celebrated there, with a ceremony at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in downtown Charleston covered in Italian frescos, which couldn’t have been more perfect for our Italian bride.
