Halloween is just one day away, and if you’re still pulling together your frighteningly fun party, head to Charleston Grit where we shared our tips this week for hosting one of the most stylish and spooky celebrations in town! We had so much fun putting together the rehearsal dinner in the photo above a few years ago and since it happened to be on Halloween, we kept everything within the festive theme. You can find more images on Charleston Grit, but we decided to also put together a little Halloween style bar this week to share with you as well! (Photo above by Liz Banfield)

If you just want to have a few friends over to welcome trick or treaters or to have a scary movie marathon, there are a few simple ways to add Halloween elements without having it feel like a theme party. First of all, we love the idea of working in a few spooky pieces into the bar… in this case we used a fun skull candle to set the tone. You can’t go wrong with Halloween colors, but try not to overdo it in this simple vignette. We brought in pretty orange glasses that are just the right amount of color for our pretty bar and also happen to be the color of our Soirée logo! (Photo by Corbin Gurkin)

We love the idea of Halloween bar snacks for hungry guests and found these lovely Moonshine Cordials at Southern Seasons (left). The XXX label goes with the theme and you can’t go wrong with the chocolate covered Oreos on the right from Shari’s Berries. Enjoy your festivities! Happy Halloween everyone! Our sister company, the Lettered Olive, is known for their beautiful letterpress stationery, so we’ve asked the team to come up with some printable templates for you to use at your next soirée. The first set of templates they’ve created are for beautiful place cards, which would instantly update a dinner party. All you need to do is download the templates at the bottom of this post, print them on thick card stock, cut them out and fold on the score line. For those that aren’t as DIY savvy, they also sell these at Taigan.com. Shown above is the fern place card, and below are the feather, and garland place cards. Enjoy!
