Our sister company, the Lettered Olive, is known for their beautiful letterpress stationery, so we’ve asked the team to come up with some printable templates for you to use at your next soirée. The first set of templates they’ve created are for beautiful place cards, which would instantly update a dinner party. All you need to do is download the templates at the bottom of this post, print them on thick card stock, cut them out and fold on the score line. For those that aren’t as DIY savvy, they also sell these at Taigan.com. Shown above is the fern place card, and below are the feather, and garland place cards. Enjoy!

A few days ago we got together with one of our favorite local gals Lulie Wallace to pull together a beautiful office lunch in the park. Just one of the perks of working with an event planning company! Lulie is well known for her gorgeous paintings that can be found on everything from quilts to wallpaper thanks to her licensing deal with Anthropologie. We had so much fun using her pillows, fabrics and napkins for our little luncheon, styled by our fabulous summer intern Ellie Gumenick and photographed by Lettered Olive Junior Graphic Designer Tarah Catalano.

How beautiful are these pillows? We used them in the chairs for extra comfort and another jolt of pattern and color. Her pillows are currently half off on her site so get ’em while they’re hot!

Here’s a quick overhead shot so you can see how well all the colors and patterns worked together. We mixed some of our favorite orange drinking glasses with classic silver flatware, and beautifully-detailed plates.

A fun twist on the traditional napkin fold (no pun intended) was to tie them in a knot finished off with a pretty little flower. It’s a more casual style and perfect for an outdoor luncheon.

Thank you Ellie for all of your hard work putting this together. We love Lulie’s pieces and couldn’t have asked for a more fabulous mid-week luncheon!
