Holiday Shopping with Shari’s Berries

With the holidays just around the corner, we’re in frantic mode trying to finish all of our gift shopping, and luckily we have Shari’s Berries to help up make it happen! You may remember that we chose some of our favorite goodies from Shari’s Berries a few weeks ago as part of the #happyaface campaign in Charleston. We love sending these treats to spread the cheer this holiday season, especially to our colleagues, out-of-town relatives, children’s teachers or babysitters, and even the mailman! Shari’s Berries has a great selection of Christmas delicacies, so we’ve gathered a few of our favorites to share with you! Head to their holiday section to see everything they have in stock, or try our favorites for yourself. For starters we have the Christmas Chocolate Covered Oreo® Cookies, my go-to gift, decorated with cute snowflakes, snowmen and holly that are perfect for this time of year. The Christmas Caramel Pretzel Rods are a great gift for friends that love salty snacks, but with just the right amount of sweetness they are sure to please anyone on your list. Another favorite, the Assorted Cake Truffles come in a gorgeous box that make gift-wrapping obsolete! And don’t forget the Handmade Peppermint Bark… you can’t go wrong with this classic Christmas sweet. The Handmade Snowmen Brownie Pops are a fun gift for someone who especially loves this holiday. You can’t get much more magical than Frosty! Last but not least are the classic Gourmet Dipped Christmas Strawberries – what Shari’s Berries is known for – these are just the best – best-selling item, and seriously delicious treat!

Treats from Shari’s Berries!

I often use Shari’s Berries as a resource when looking for the perfect favors for parties, so I was thrilled when they asked me to be involved in their #happyAface campaign promoting the spreading of joy and cheer through gifts and thoughtful gestures in the Charleston area. It’s so much fun to be part of this #happyAface movement to bring happy faces to Charleston, so I’m inviting you to join by using hashtags #happyAface and #swps in social media posts related to the things that make you happy! Shari’s Berries will be drawing names from those that used the hashtag three times per week and will be giving away their signature dipped fruit or treats. It’s a great way to try their delicious sweets if you haven’t already! In the meantime, I’m sharing some of my favorite Shari’s Berries goodies here in photos by Corbin Gurkin so I can hopefully bring a smile to your face today.

For starters, I really love their Gourmet Dipped Cherries… juicy and delicious (top left)! Next (top right) are their cake pops. Aren’t these perfect for Halloween?! Below the cake pops are their classic Dipped Strawberries in beautiful colors for fall, and to the left of those are my all time favorites, chocolate-covered Oreos! You can never have too much chocolate. Underneath the Oreos are yummy Handmade Sea Salted Caramels, and last but not least are the cutest little animal cake pops ever! Wouldn’t they be wonderful for a children’s party?

I love the idea of making Charleston a happier place, one face at a time. So join in the movement and post pictures of what makes you happy using the hashtags #happyAface #swps. You can happy a face with one social media post. I’m happying my Mom’s face this week with a box of giant dipped berries, and I can’t wait to see her face when she gets them! Favorite West Elm Finds

I recently had a chance to run into the West Elm store near my New York offices and loved their current collection of tabletop pieces and accessories! The colors and textures felt rich and luxurious and I had so much fun doing some fall shopping. I’m sharing some of my favorites today and luckily you can buy them online too! Above is a beautiful little glass knot in a sweet box that would be perfect as a tabletop accessory or even sitting atop a desk.

These faux shagreen boxes are so chic! I love the idea of keeping stationery inside or even you favorite pieces of jewelry on top of your vanity. They’re available in two sizes and colors, but I love this natural finish.

west elm knives

A set of cheese knives is a great hostess gift, and perfect for entertaining. Even better in gold! I couldn’t wait to get them home and try them out… don’t they look lovely on the cheese platter above?

I love the way West Elm styles their merchandise, and this beautiful pile of candle holders is a great example. Look at the gorgeous array of colors… I could have bought 100!

This sweet little owl dish is the perfect size for rings and is a fun nod to fall without feeling too thematic. They also carry a hedgehog dish which is quite cute also.

Last but not least are these beautiful waxed canvas bags that they carry in the New York store. They have a whole section of products dedicated to New York artisans… definitely worth checking out when you are there! In the meantime, here are some of their other lovely bags.
