Halloween is just one day away, and if you’re still pulling together your frighteningly fun party, head to Charleston Grit where we shared our tips this week for hosting one of the most stylish and spooky celebrations in town! We had so much fun putting together the rehearsal dinner in the photo above a few years ago and since it happened to be on Halloween, we kept everything within the festive theme. You can find more images on Charleston Grit, but we decided to also put together a little Halloween style bar this week to share with you as well! (Photo above by Liz Banfield)

If you just want to have a few friends over to welcome trick or treaters or to have a scary movie marathon, there are a few simple ways to add Halloween elements without having it feel like a theme party. First of all, we love the idea of working in a few spooky pieces into the bar… in this case we used a fun skull candle to set the tone. You can’t go wrong with Halloween colors, but try not to overdo it in this simple vignette. We brought in pretty orange glasses that are just the right amount of color for our pretty bar and also happen to be the color of our Soirée logo! (Photo by Corbin Gurkin)

We love the idea of Halloween bar snacks for hungry guests and found these lovely Moonshine Cordials at Southern Seasons (left). The XXX label goes with the theme and you can’t go wrong with the chocolate covered Oreos on the right from Shari’s Berries. Enjoy your festivities! Happy Halloween everyone! TailgatingSince partying in any form is what we’re really all about, we thought it would be fun to share some of our teams’ tailgating essentials just in time for football season.  We’ve got you covered with everything from what to drink and what to wear to how to serve it. Most importantly, don’t forget to support your team (dig out those jerseys…), make it look nice (beautiful serving pieces and even a festive tent or tablecloth go a long way), and have fun!

One of our favorite things about planning weddings on the scale that we do is that we really get to develop meaningful relationships with our brides for many years to come. In fact some of them even ask Lettered Olive to create baby announcements for them when they welcome new additions to their family, as was the case with little “Tripp” in the photo above. We’re sharing a peek at the beautiful wedding we created for the Roys a few years ago (photos by Liz Banfield), and were thrilled to join them in celebrating this special time!

How cute are Tripp’s parents?! Such a lovely couple… this expression is what it’s all about! We’re sharing a few more details from this memorable wedding below. Enjoy!
